This country has my heart. There’s a pulse about this area that quietly directs your attention, almost as if it pulls up a chair, and welcomes you to sink into pure solitude under the sun. There needs to be more hidden gems like this. Not only do I have a new found appreciation for the grandeur of the jungles here but also for taking the road less traveled. We ran into some very interesting mountain crossing scenarios, and we’ve met some amazing locals along the way.
